Frequently asked questions

Who is Career Concierge for?

We work primarily with students in Years 11 and 12, and also support families as early as Year 9 when parents are ready to plan ahead. If you’re navigating subject selection, considering career pathways, or just feeling unsure about next steps — we can help.

What does the process involve?

We guide students through a structured, one-on-one process that explores strengths, learning style, interests, and future direction. From there, we support subject selection, long-term planning, and family alignment. You’ll walk away with a clear, personalised roadmap.

How is this different from school counseling?

We offer a deeper, more personalised level of support. Where schools may provide brief, broad guidance, we take the time to understand each student individually — combining data, insight, and strategy to inform decisions that actually fit.

Do parents take part in the process?

Yes — we work with both students and parents. Parents are included in key moments to ensure clarity, alignment, and shared understanding. You won’t be left on the sidelines — but you also won’t have to carry the burden alone.

What if my child doesn’t know what they want to do yet?

That’s exactly why we’re here. We don’t expect students to have it all figured out — our process is designed to help them explore their strengths, clarify what fits, and make decisions that keep options open.

Is this only for high-achieving students?

Not at all. We work with a wide range of students — from high performers looking to refine their strategy, to those feeling unsure or disengaged. Our goal is to help each student find a path that fits them.

What happens in the free consult?

We’ll discuss your goals, explain how our process works, and answer any questions — with no obligation to continue. It’s a chance to see if we’re the right fit for your family.
